How does the process work?

The process is simple and supportive. First, you’ll have a short, friendly conversation with Food For All staff to learn about meditation and talk about what you’re hoping to get from the program. You will then be matched with one of FFA’s trained meditation guides. You can try one session to see how it feels and decide if it’s right for you. If you choose to continue, you’ll have regular sessions with your guide at a pace that works for you. The program is free, and you can always pause or stop at any time. 

Do I Need anything special?

No. All you need is a quiet place, a comfortable chair to sit on, and a few minutes when you won’t be interrupted.

No. You can sit in a chair. You should be in a position that feels comfortable and safe for your body.

Sessions are 5 – 15 minutes long. Even a few minutes can be helpful. You can start small and decide what feels right for you.
