A group volunteer opportunity at Food For All lasts 3-4 hours and includes direct service through packing and delivering food bags to struggling DC residents. We also encourage powerful conversations around issues related to food insecurity. Solidarity encounters like these foster joy by making positive social impact and sharing a deeper connection with coworkers.

Volunteer location: 1810 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20009 – just one mile north of the White House.
Volunteering with Food for All DC was a great experience. We packed numerous bags, while chatting with members of the FFA team. They clearly care about people. We also met recipients of the food delivery service who no longer need it. We connected as a group by discussing the act of sharing food and how it is such a quintessential piece of being human. It was definitely rewarding to contribute to Food For All DC’s cause with my team.
