Role Overview:

FFA is looking for a volunteer who can be our Social Media Lead. The Social Media Lead will play a crucial role in amplifying FFA’s presence on various social media platforms, particularly for our special 40th year anniversary. This individual will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and implementing a holistic social media strategy to engage our audience, raise awareness about our mission, and drive community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop FFA’s social media strategy aligned with our goals and collaborate with the social media team to execute the strategy
  • Partnership Development: Identify relevant partnerships (e.g., with local influencers) to raise awareness across social media
  • Campaign Management and Monitoring: Plan and execute social media campaigns to support fundraising, events, and awareness initiatives. Regularly monitor social media metrics and analyze the performance of campaigns. Use data to refine and improve the social media strategy
  • Content Creation & Community Engagement: Develop engaging and shareable content for social media platforms to foster a sense of community and interaction on social media platforms, and as needed by responding to comments, messages, and mention
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other FFA teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms for an organization, preferably in a nonprofit setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Campaign and Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage for FFA. Collaborate with the communications team to plan and execute PR campaigns that align with organizational goals and mission. Ensure consistent messaging and branding in all external communications.
